Many ways were used to enhance comet's images in earlier years. Astronomers such as S. M. Larson and Z. Sekanina used their ways to complete the enhancing of Comet Halley's images. Nowaday, wavelet analysis of comet become the newest way. Through the use of these ways, we can see shells of gas and jets of dust clearly. We use these ways to enhance the CCD images of comet Hale-Bopp which were photoed by 40cm telescope of Purple Mountain Observatory. From the images on March 3rd and 4th, we can see structure of shells on northwest clearly. At the same time, we should also say the wavelet analysis is superior to Z. Sakenina's way on smaller field.
